Institute Community: Join Harvard Credit Union

Through our affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital, which is an academic teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, current students, staff, faculty, and all alumni of the MGH Institute of Health Professions are now eligible to join Harvard University Employees Credit Union (HUECU). Immediate family members of anyone eligible to join HUECU may apply for membership as well.

HUECU offers a full range of banking and financial services, with branch offices on the MGH hospital campus and in the Longwood Medical Area (plus an ATM machine in the lobby of Building 149 in the Charlestown Navy Yard).

Current students, faculty or staff of the Institute can apply for membership at the MGH branch by showing a current Institute ID badge. (International students may be eligible to open a “campus account” for checking with a Student MasterCard. Contact HUECU regarding eligibility.)

Alumni who wish to join the credit union should contact the alumni office by emailing alumni@mghihp.edu, so that we can provide HUECU with verification of your alumni status.
